The night of the dark moon in January 2025 I led my Wax & Wane community through our quarterly Elder Council shamanic ceremony (interested in learning more about the classes I teach? Oh yesss! visit magicalentrepreneur.com). The meditation was a guided visualization of all of our ancestors, spirit guides, and ascended teachers wrapping their arms around us and holding us in divine light and love. It was so beautiful. I knew I wanted to launch the new Lair New Moon blend at the new moon (this one) but was thinking I would make it the morning of; instead, I stayed up and made this blend at midnight and channeled all of that tender, nurturing energies I felt in our circle. The notes in this blend are deep, round, and rare, like the love I felt as the keeper of that space and as one who has held space at the new moon now for well over a decade, for and with people from around the world, as they clear what is ready to be release and welcome what is available to arrive.
The red chempaka oil, the last ingredient to be added, as I said prayers and set intentions for you, dropped slowly into the bottle in a long line with tiny red hearts floating. It was a purely magical moment. The result is a completely magical blend.
I am hand engraving a small crescent moon on each bottle for you. The full moon blend, coming in February at the full moon, will have a circle and a silver cap so you can tell your blends apart. And this will be my only new moon blend, for us at all of our circles and ceremonies together on this sacred occasion.
